Use this page if your clinic, office, hospital, recovery stay, or organization wants Recovery Tourism to stop provider profile verification outreach.
This form is for business/contact suppression only. Do not submit patient names, medical records, photos, diagnoses, or private health information.
Opt-out requests are handled separately from listing verification, paid profiles, sponsored placements, and lead-routing discussions. See our provider listing methodology for how publication gates work.
Listings and profile removal
Opting out of outreach stops Recovery Tourism from contacting you. It does not remove a provider profile.
Recovery Tourism builds baseline provider profiles from public, official sources — government health registries, licensing bodies, and accreditation organizations. Because this information is public record, published for consumer benefit, profiles based on it are not removed on request. This is the same standing practice used by major consumer directory platforms.
What every provider can always do, free of charge:
- Correct factual errors. If a profile shows a wrong address, service, license status, or accreditation, tell us and we will verify against the official source and fix it.
- Claim the profile. Verified representatives can claim their profile to keep information current and respond publicly to any content on it.
- Respond. Claimed profiles include the provider’s own statement alongside our source-reviewed facts.
Profiles are removed or suppressed only in narrow cases: a demonstrable factual error we cannot resolve against official sources, a safety or legal requirement, a court or regulator order, or evidence the listing identifies a private individual rather than a licensed practice. Removal decisions follow our manual review policy and are logged.
Submission Status
Provider submissions are not open yet. This page does not accept public submissions, opt-out requests, suppression requests, phone numbers, documents, or private health information.
The future provider opt-out workflow requires double owner approval before any intake tool can go live. That approval must confirm the public page language, consent handling, manual review lane, suppression scope, retention rules, and the exact submission workflow.
Until then, Recovery Tourism may describe the future opt-out process, but it does not accept public submissions through this page.
What happens next
When an opt-out workflow is approved later, requests may be used to suppress future provider profile verification outreach to the submitted business contact. If clarification is needed, Recovery Tourism may reply once for confirmation.
An opt-out request may block outreach, sales contact, or lead routing for the submitted contact or organization while the request is reviewed. It does not remove or freeze a published profile; corrections to published facts follow the process above.
