Recovery Tourism (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates recoverytourism.com. This policy describes how we handle information on this site.
Information We Collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide via our contact forms, such as name, email, organization, role, phone number, website, message, provider profile details submitted for correction or verification, and provider outreach opt-out requests.
Quote requests are live. When you ask us to help organize a quote request, we collect the information you choose to send, such as your name, email, general procedure interest, destination interest, timing, budget range, contact preference, and consent choices.
If chat, AI-assisted, voice, or messaging features are enabled later, we may collect the information you choose to enter into those tools.
We may also collect standard analytics data, such as page views, traffic source, browser/device information, and approximate location derived from analytics tools.
How We Use Information
Contact form, provider profile, and opt-out submissions are used to respond to your inquiry, review corrections, verify public business/profile details, suppress future provider outreach where requested, and decide whether submitted information can be used on Recovery Tourism.
We use quote-request information to process the request, apply your consent choices, and decide whether the request can be routed. We will not send your inquiry to a provider unless you have given consent for that sharing. A quote request does not create a doctor-patient relationship, and it is not medical advice.
If AI-assisted site tools are enabled later, they should be used only for general research and navigation. Chat or message content may be processed to generate a response, improve safety, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the tool, and maintain records of consent or support requests.
Analytics data is used to understand site traffic and improve content. We do not sell or rent your information.
Email Updates
If you sign up for email updates, we collect the email address you submit and send those messages through Brevo. Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future marketing email to that address. We keep a record of the unsubscribe request so we do not add you back to that list.
Provider Desk Calls
Providers may call the Provider Desk at +1 786-687-0190 (English or Spanish) about a listing claim, a correction, an opt-out, or a plan question.
Calls to this number are recorded, and we keep a transcript. We tell you at the start of the call that it is being recorded. The recording and transcript may include the date, the number you called from, the organization, and what you say, so we can follow up. Do not leave patient information, medical records, diagnoses, or other sensitive health information on the call.
Paid Plan Payments
Paid directory plans are the free factual listing, the $29 per month doctor or clinic profile, the $290 per month hospital profile, and sponsored placement at +$99 or +$990 per month. Website, AI receptionist, and CRM invoices are separate Bowman Web Services charges. Paid plan payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store full card numbers. Online checkout is not open yet.
Sensitive Health Information
Do not submit medical records, procedure photos, lab results, prescriptions, insurance IDs, passport images, Social Security numbers, full diagnoses, or other private health information through this site, chat tools, forms, email, or messaging channels.
Recovery Tourism is not a healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency support, or medical record management.
Sharing Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the site, forms, analytics, email, communications, security, hosting, payments, or future AI-assisted tools. Service providers should only use information for the services they provide to Recovery Tourism.
We may share a visitor inquiry with a clinic, hospital, recovery stay, or other provider only when the visitor has given consent for that sharing and the request has passed the site’s routing and safety gates.
Provider-submitted profile information may be reviewed, verified, edited, published, declined, or held privately according to Recovery Tourism’s editorial and verification process.
Third-Party Services
This site uses Google Analytics. Google’s privacy policy applies to data collected through that service. Email signups are handled by Brevo. Brevo’s privacy policy applies to delivery of those messages and to unsubscribe processing. Paid plan payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store full card numbers. Future tools may use form, messaging, phone, AI, database, or hosting providers. Any public launch of those tools should be reflected in this policy before they are used.
Retention And Requests
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for site operations, legal or business records, provider verification, opt-out suppression, email unsubscribe records, security, or consent records. You may contact us to ask about information you submitted, request a correction, or request outreach suppression.
