Recovery Tourism publishes source-reviewed research listings for hospitals and clinics that serve Americans and Canadians researching care in Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and the wider region. If your facility is already in the Doctor And Provider Directory, or you would like it to be considered, this page explains your options.
Email us about a founding profile
That link opens your email app to contact@recoverytourism.com. There is no online form, sign-up, or checkout on this site.
Free factual profile
Eligible facilities can be considered for a free factual profile. It is built from public, official sources and published only after review under our listing methodology. It includes:
- facility name, city, country, and provider type;
- the official website and the provider’s own published contact route;
- care areas named on the facility’s own public pages;
- a conservative accreditation note with a link to the accrediting body’s own directory, where one exists;
- the source trail used to build the listing and the date it was last reviewed.
Corrections to a free profile are always free. You never need to buy anything to fix an error. See the provider claim page for what to include in a correction email.
Founding enhanced profile
For facilities that want to tell international patients more, we offer an optional founding enhanced profile:
- $249 per month, or $2,490 per year;
- an enhanced description of your services for international patients, written in your words and reviewed before publication;
- photos of your facility;
- a direct contact for your international patient office;
- a quote-request button that sends people to your own international patient contact.
We confirm scope and terms by email before anything is billed. Nothing is sold online.
What payment can and cannot change
Payment never affects:
- verification labels such as Source Reviewed;
- ratings, rankings, or ordering presented as merit (we do not publish patient ratings);
- accreditation notes or source notes;
- whether we publish risk, missing-evidence, or correction notes.
Paid profiles are clearly labeled as paid so visitors can see when money is involved. A paid profile is not a recommendation, a credential check, or a guarantee of care. Read the sponsored placement disclosure for the full standard.
How to get started
- Email contact@recoverytourism.com with your facility name, official website, city and country, and your role.
- We review the public sources for your facility and confirm whether it is eligible for a listing.
- For an enhanced profile, we agree the content and terms by email. Enhanced content is reviewed before it appears and is labeled as paid.
Do not email patient names, medical records, diagnoses, or patient photos. This route is for business and directory questions only.
