Directory Verification Labels
No public provider listings are live yet.
This page explains the labels Recovery Tourism may use later when doctor, provider, facility, recovery stay, concierge, transportation, or partner records become eligible for public review.
A verification label is not a recommendation, ranking, medical opinion, safety guarantee, credential guarantee, or promise that a provider is appropriate for a specific visitor.
Candidate
Candidate means a provider or organization has been identified for research.
It does not mean the provider is safe, best, or appropriate. It also does not mean source evidence has been fully reviewed or that a public listing should exist.
Candidate rows stay private unless later review allows publication.
Source Reviewed
Source Reviewed means public or official sources have been checked for basic facts.
Examples may include provider-owned websites, accreditor pages, government or regulator sources, tourism-board references, or professional association sources.
Source Reviewed does not mean Recovery Tourism recommends the provider, guarantees the provider, or confirms every credential claim.
Provider Confirmed
Provider Confirmed means the provider or an authorized representative has confirmed selected public business or profile details.
Provider Confirmed does not replace source review. It does not create a clinical endorsement, safety claim, ranking, or referral relationship.
Partner
Partner means a commercial, sponsored, affiliate, referral, or other documented relationship may exist.
Partner status must be disclosed where relevant. Payment does not replace verification and does not allow a provider to buy a safety claim, ranking, or recommendation.
Not Listable
Not Listable means a row is excluded, suppressed, held, duplicated, outside scope, missing evidence, or blocked for another review reason.
Not Listable is not a medical judgment. It is a publication and research status.
What Labels Cannot Do
Directory labels cannot:
- diagnose a visitor;
- recommend a treatment;
- rank providers;
- guarantee credentials, outcomes, prices, or availability;
- decide whether travel is safe for someone;
- replace a visitor’s own doctor, dentist, surgeon, insurer, or qualified professional.
Current Gate
Before any label appears on a public provider listing, Recovery Tourism should have:
- source evidence reviewed;
- public fields separated from private fields;
- disclosure language ready;
- correction and opt-out paths ready;
- owner readiness approval;
- owner send/publish approval for the exact listing batch.
